What else is out there?
Stamp Clubs & Societies offer a wealth of advice, from collectors who have seen it all, done it all, licked it all. At a stamp club, members will often display their prized collections. Their displays could consist of solely of Penny Blacks, or the achievements of Noble Prize winners, both equally valid. As a visitor or new member you will be able get some idea of the benefits of displaying stamps and sourcing information from the internet, local libraries, wherever. Most Societies will meet from October to April, and details of venues, special displays, or the location of the next congress, can be had in this area, and we invite any philatelic society to come forward for free inclusion on our site. All stamp clubs and societies share the same principles: the further awareness of Philately, from Junior to Senior level. We would say to anyone who has never been to a stamp club, go along, without any preconceptions, and judge for yourself.
We have provided Links to a number of stamp companies, publishers - that sort of thing - that we feel could be useful to your further enjoyment of stamp collecting. Since we take no monies from these companies, we are not responsible for any dealings you might have with these enterprises, they are listed purely for your information and to help you locate what you are after. Do try us first, though.
